Step 01
Fixture design
Fixtures locate on cast datums agreed during die design.

Machining castings in the same plant they are cast in keeps datums, fixtures and responsibility in one place. We machine critical faces, bores and threads so your parts arrive ready to assemble.
A die casting is rarely finished as it leaves the die: sealing faces need flatness, bearing bores need size and position, and threads must be cut. When the foundry also machines, the casting datums, fixtures and the machining programme are designed together — so tolerances are held more reliably and problems are traced to their cause.
We machine castings from our own die casting cells. [INSERT WHETHER CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED CASTINGS ARE ACCEPTED].
How a cast part moves through machining:
Step 01
Fixtures locate on cast datums agreed during die design.
Step 02
The first machined part is fully measured before batch release.
Step 03
Multi-spindle drilling and pneumatic index tables for high-cadence hole preparation and tapping.
Step 04
[INSERT CNC FACING / BORING CAPABILITY]
Step 05
Machining burrs and chips are removed before inspection.
Step 06
Go/no-go and variable gauges on critical features; periodic CMM audits.
